We build useful mobile apps and run them with our own data tools.
Bamboo Studio is a mobile app studio based in Vietnam. We design, publish and grow utility apps on Google Play and the App Store, and we operate in-house tools that read our advertising data so our team can make better decisions.
About Bamboo Studio
Our studio has shipped hundreds of applications since 2020: document and PDF tools, scanners, photo and camera utilities, trackers, launchers and other everyday apps. We acquire users mainly through Google Ads App campaigns, and we measure every campaign against real product outcomes such as trials, subscriptions and ad revenue.
What we make
PDF readers, editors, converters and document scanners for Android and iOS.
GPS photo stamping, editors and camera helpers.
QR and barcode scanners, money trackers, launchers, VPN and security helpers.
Small puzzle and craft games published under our studio labels.
Our internal tools
To manage advertising for this many apps we built gads, an internal Google Ads reporting and campaign-management tool. It is used only by Bamboo Studio's marketing team on Google Ads accounts the studio owns or manages. The tool is not offered to the public and has no customers outside the studio.
What gads does
- Reads campaign, ad group, asset and performance reports from Google Ads through the official Google Ads API, after an authorized team member signs in with their Google account.
- Builds daily dashboards that join advertising cost with app results (installs, trials, subscriptions, ad revenue) so campaigns can be judged by profit.
- Shows budget pacing, policy and approval status, change history and Google's recommendations in one place.
- Applies campaign changes (budget, bidding targets, creative assets) only when an authorized team member requests them.
What it does not do
- It does not access any Google Ads account that the signed-in person does not already manage.
- It does not sell, share or publish advertising data, and it does not use Google user data to train or improve machine-learning models.
How we handle Google user data is described in our Privacy Policy. Use of the tool is governed by our Terms of Service.
