Privacy Policy
Bamboo Studio ("we", "us") is a mobile app studio based in Vietnam. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through gads, our internal tool that connects to Google Ads, how we use and protect that information, and the choices you have.
1. The gads tool and who can use it
gads is an internal reporting and campaign-management tool for Google Ads. It is used only by members of Bamboo Studio's marketing team, on Google Ads accounts that the studio owns or manages. It is not offered to the general public. To use it, a team member signs in with their Google account and grants the tool permission to access Google Ads on their behalf.
2. Google user data we access
When you sign in, we request the Google Ads API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. With your permission the tool can read, and when you ask it to, change, the following data in the Google Ads accounts you manage:
| Data | Why we need it |
|---|---|
| Account structure (manager and client accounts, names, currency, time zone) | To list the accounts you manage and run reports per account |
| Campaign, ad group, ad and asset settings (status, budgets, bidding targets, creatives, policy and approval status) | To show how campaigns are configured, which assets are approved and which campaigns are limited |
| Performance reports (cost, impressions, clicks, installs, conversions, conversion value, by day, country and campaign) | To build dashboards that compare advertising cost with app results |
| Recommendations and change history provided by Google Ads | To review Google's suggestions and to audit who changed what |
| The e-mail address of the Google account used to sign in | To identify which team member authorized the tool |
We do not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service through gads. We do not collect personal data about the end users of our apps or the people who see our advertisements through this tool.
3. How we use the data
- To produce internal dashboards and reports about our own advertising performance and profitability.
- To monitor budgets, policy status and account changes.
- To apply campaign changes that an authorized team member explicitly requests.
We do not use Google user data for advertising to third parties, for profiling individuals, or to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
4. Limited Use disclosure
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, Google user data obtained through gads is used only to provide and improve the tool's reporting and campaign-management features for the user who granted access, is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features, to comply with applicable law or as part of a merger or acquisition with prior notice, is not used for serving advertisements, and is never read by humans except with the user's consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or for internal operations after aggregation or anonymization.
5. Storage and security
- Data read from Google Ads is stored on computers and servers controlled by Bamboo Studio, located in Vietnam, and in encrypted backups.
- OAuth tokens are stored in access-restricted files on the devices that run the tool. They are never published, shared or committed to source code repositories.
- Internal dashboards built from this data are available only to team members behind authentication; they are not public.
- Access is limited to the team members who need it for their work.
6. Sharing
We do not sell Google user data and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The only parties that may process it are infrastructure providers that host our tools (for example, cloud hosting and content-delivery providers), acting on our instructions, and Google itself as the source of the data.
7. Retention and deletion
Reports and tokens are kept for as long as the Google Ads account is managed by the studio and the tool is in use. When a team member leaves or asks us to, we delete their tokens and the data tied to their sign-in within 30 days. You can also revoke the tool's access at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions; after revocation the tool can no longer read or change anything on your behalf.
8. This website
bamboostudio.org is a static website. It does not use tracking cookies, analytics beacons or advertising. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and to operate the service.
9. Children
gads and this website are intended for adults working at Bamboo Studio. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes that affect how we use Google user data will be communicated to the team members who use the tool before they take effect.
11. Contact
For questions about this policy, to request deletion of your data or to report a concern, contact [email protected].
